indian propogandaIslamabad, July 28, 2015: President Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies, Senator Sehar Kamran (TI) has strongly condemned the malicious Indian propaganda in the wake of Gurdaspur attack in Indian Punjab against Pakistan. She said Pakistan itself has been a victim of terrorism and strongly condemns any act of terror which results in the loss of innocent lives.

Senator Kamran said statements by Indian leaders blaming Pakistan for the attack without proper investigation will lead to further chaos and destabilisation in the region. India has been actively campaigning against Pakistan and this wave of allegations after the attack seem to be a part of the conscious effort to malign Pakistan.

Senator Sehar Kamran advised the Government of Pakistan to give a befitting reply to any baseless Indian accusations and allegations. She said such acts of belligerence cannot depreciate Pakistan’s efforts and sacrifices against the war on terror. Pakistan will not indulge in an irresponsible blame game, which will ultimately only result in regional destabilisation.

The Pakistani nation stands behind and pays tribute to its brave soldiers and supports the valour of the Pakistan army in their fight against terror, she added.
