Mr. Ronny Henie, the Resident Representative of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and Mr Fawad Haider Program Officer KAS visited the CPGS office, Islamabad on July 24, 2013. They were given a presentation on CPGS and its ongoing projects; in a meeting with the CPGS President Senator Sehar Kamran areas of mutual cooperation were discussed. Mr. Ronny appreciated the initiative taken by the Centre in undertaking their most recent project – titled SALAM: Innovating Means to Resolve Radical Extremism in Pakistan. Both parties expressed agreement on the need for developing de-radicalization measures, and built a consensus for working together to this end and helping eradicate this global menace. It is the need of the hour to change the minds of the society and introduce change that leads towards modernization. They assured their participation in the CPGS seminar and entering into a long term partnership.
